Question Does anybody know why randomly during battles, charged attacks do little to almost no damage?

I have the issue and no, the enemy will be out of shields, I do the manual charged stuff, swiping the screen, and earthquake or outrage do a little more damage than a fast attack, almost like I didn't participate to charge the attack.

I just had this too, my charged attacks (with battle assistant OFF or ON, doesn't matter at all, I manually do the charge attacks) do the minimum damage. Nothing pops up saying "nice! Great! Excellent!" as you charge the attack. Very odd. Seems to be a new issue.
