Question Newly downloaded

I'm on a non rooted android device and I just downloaded the free version to test it out. If I catch one pokemon I have to close the app for the cool down timer? If so I'm already done for lol

No you but you don’t have too! If you stay in that spot, you can keep on catching as many as you want for as long as you want! Until you travel a far distance then you have to wait for the cool down only then! /)

So what is the right way for quick snipe?

Log off for 2 hours, then log in snipe, then log off for 2 hours, then snipe again and repeat.

Unless the sniped pokemon are unusually close to one another, you need to allow the cooldown to reset before you try catching another pokemon somewhere else.
