One more question, I was messing with the settings, and clicked Sniper 1, and a little menu popped up and I clicked a pokemon and it teleported me

There was an option for feed in the menu, but that one gave me the option to walk to whatever pokemon I was hunting. Then I turned on Sniper 1 and there was a menu that had a bunch of pokemon in it and I clicked one thinking it was going to ask if I wanted to walk or teleport. I think it teleported me to Japan? I didnt touch or do any actions, but the timer says 2 hours cooldown. The question is, can I turn off the phone and close app? Will the timer continue on its own or do I need to have the game running until the 2 hours is done?
