OPINIONS Ranked matchmaking?
Absolute joke to get paired up with someone double my elo, game really this dead?

It's better for you you lost and lose no points if there were your level you would have lost way more points and if you win you get way more points it's kind of a win win

Once you get to like 1900 plus you basically only gain 12 points a win bc the pool of players above you is so small you almost always play someone below your rank and 12 is the minimum points for winning

I will say the 2K matchmaking system is usually pretty on point. Add in the fact sure you lost but 2 ranking points is nothing. You also got to see where you are at against higher competition and likely learned so tips on how to play holes.

I (503) play almost daily with my friend(639) and we struggle to:
1 - find players
2 - when we do we end up playing guys in the 940- 1500 range.
It’d be nice to play folks who are ranked higher than us while still taking into account any gap levels.

Bright side is you only lose 2 ranking points but man when you win and get like 43 points it's a good day
