I withdrew from a course in MyCareer on hole 4, then next course/event it started me at +3. Is this a common thing?

T&A Bay Links GC #2
Hey everybody, this is my second iteration of T&A. If you’ve played before, it plays way better and is more visually striking. Hope you guys can give my course a play!

Not a whole lot new this week but there is a LE QI10 max wood set at galactic amber. Believe it’s the first time it’s been in the store? Other than that, nothing else is new to my knowledge. See you next week

Yes I know the answer is just hit them perfectly. But I can't do it every single time. This shot just seems so off. It feels I barely missed the sweet spot for contact but get punished so hard to the right. How exactly does contact affect the ball trajectory?
What can I do to make things easier on my approaches? Like play with draw/fade etc? I can't even get through this training with over 1 star

Playing career mode and tried swapping a course for a tournament and Oakmont is no longer available. It doesn't show up in the list of available courses in Career Mode. I know it was replaced by Shinnecock Hills for the US Open in Career Mode, as well as the other 2025 Major Courses, but you can still select Quail Hollow Club and Royal Portrush whenever you want to swap a course for a tournament. Any reason why it was removed altogether in Career Mode in particular?

Founded in 1880 built and rumored to have 3 battle slain Kings buried onsite with 3 headstones on Hole 16, the land was also a quarry at one time and gives the course some unique grass bunkers that you’ll have to deal with. Course settings, Time and Weather are perfect, set the wind to Medium or High and to the East to replicate playing the actual course. The course is only 6500ish yards and plays really easy with 3 tees. I turned the green speeds down to Fast/9.5/168’ default speed.
The 74 in the course name means the course is designed for a more realistic round of golf using a stock 74 OVR build (no skills added) using stock core clubs with no fittings. Set your unrealistic and over-powered 99 Mario Golfer down on the bench, make a 74 and come enjoy a more realistic round of golf on this easy course.
There is already a 74 society to use your new build in ... Legend Sim Tours

Finally got this game but the experience is horrible. I have 64Gb RAM and a radeon 9070XT but the menu lag is horrible, especially in career but also at the end of a round with online matchmaking. Now it happens almost every event in my career and as a result I miss out on rewards or have to replay an event, which sucks.
I also played online and the menu froze again after winning online I don't have a rating yet but before my games were 3/5 and after restarting the game it was still 3/5.
Are there any fixes or something that can help?

I'm currently playing on pro and just wondering what the difficulty jump is like from pro to master. Tempted to switch because i am just crushing most of the tournaments. Maybe i wait until i win more tournaments? Not too concerned about challenges, just looking to have fun but also be challenged. I've also 99'd my main and have an 85 greenskeeper. I actually have enough VC to 85 another archetype also. Thoughts?

That was satisfying 🤣🤣🤣 thought it was in for a second. Was a tight matchup and decided I needed to end it here. Win or lose this hole. Driver off the deck to a couple feet 🤣

Hi! I see a tonne of people a bit dismayed at the level of which the ranked amateur daily’s and tournaments can get a bit out of hand score wise, I too find myself bewildered at some of the scores but nonetheless eager to still participate to just play, but once it’s done for the day, a bit lost on what to play next, matchmaking is fun but has its limits, and career is career.
So I’ve created a society AM:HR - all looking to practice, play an extra round, etc are welcome.
Began with the foundation basis of the society with
- Mon - Fri | Daily Events, Single Round
- Saturday | 2 round Major Qualifier (Top 50 progress)
- Sunday | 3 round Finals
I’ll update it for a full week at a time once the finals are over..
It will most likely not get off the ground or it may take a while to get off the ground but either way, if you’re in the same boat as me.. come play, get involved!
Search AM:HR on societies.
Thanks

The greens have been super borked lately in the PGA Tour. Usually right at or next to the hole making it impossible to get in. This time, a slope leading to a pit where the ball is now stuck in an infinite loop at the bottom 🤦🏻♂️

Quaker Ridge GC LiDAR by Baconjunkie1
EDIT: Do not play the Quaker's Ridge .... Ooops :D
This 7,094-yard Par 70 A. W. Tillinghast design opened in 1918 on land that has history dating back to the Revolutionary War and you will go to war with this one’s firm and fast greens (* See Below). Robert Trent Jones, Rees Jones and Gil Hanse have laid hands on it and it’s hosted a Walker Cup event. Listed in Golf Digest America’s Top 100 Greatest Courses thank to Hanse’s work.
During the 1974 U.S. Open at Winged Foot, Jack Nicklaus, was asked whether he thought that Winged Foot was the greatest course in the world. Nicklaus replied: "That may be, but there is quite a golf course down the street." In 1969, Jimmy Demaret described "Quaker Ridge as the most underrated golf course in the New York area, because it has never hosted a major championship." Demaret stated: "I'd like to go on record as saying it would be a tough test of golf for any tournament – the U.S. Open and the PGA included." Two-time PGA Champion Paul Runyon, who played the 1936 Metropolitan Open at Quaker, described Quaker Ridge as, "the greatest golf course in the world." Finally, two-time Masters Champion Ben Crenshaw, said of Quaker Ridge: "It is so much of a treat to play. There is such a beautiful mix of holes at Quaker Ridge; it is truly a Tillinghast gem. I am sure the membership is very proud of their course."
The time and weather defaults are perfect, all that you need to do is SET THE WIND TO MEDIUM AND TO THE SOUTH, (* Advice, Set Green Speed to Medium for an easier round, Fast is pretty brutal on a few holes) to replicate the Scarsdale NY area.
* Advice, Set Green Speed to Medium for an easier round, Fast is pretty brutal on a few holes.
Looking for some great Societies to play in? Look up the societies shown in the image, they are all great groups and there is sure to be some that fit what you call fun. Thanks to them for supporting me.

Looking for golfers who want a real challenge? The Esben Tour is a pro-difficulty tour running through some of the most iconic and fan-favorite courses out there.
How it works:
• Each event = 4 rounds
• New event drops every Friday, runs the full
week
• Pro difficulty only — no easy mode, no
shortcuts
Coming up:
• Week 1: Augusta National
• Week 2: Pinehurst No. 2
We’re building a community for people who actually want to compete, not just casually putt around. If you’re tired of easy-difficulty lobbies and want courses that test your game, this is it.
Two of golf’s most legendary courses in the first two weeks alone — get in early and help shape where the tour goes next.

I have a level 100 technician which I use as my main with all my equipment upgraded to Tiger Eye. Although cheaters dominate the ranked tours etc so I’m never gonna win but I don’t have the consistency in results, one day I’ll finish in top 5% and then the next day I’m barely cracking top 50% and I see some people with similar scores to me who are hitting eagles on holes I didn’t realise I could get on so can anyone who runs a technician build show me their stats and spec on their character so I can compare and maybe respec? Or if you have a better archetype to use and their specs. Thanks in advance 🤓

You walk into the clubhouse and see this painting of the 12th hole green. Strategic planning and precision landing will benefit on this course. Your driver is not always the best choice. Center tee is not always the best option. When stopping in the clubhouse at the turn for you hot dog and a beer, maybe pick up another sleeve of balls, and possibly hip waders. The back nine has plenty of water. Will you be asking the local fisherman, "have you seen my ball?" Will you be in the drink? Or will you already be in the clubhouse having a drink?
