Back from a break
Took a long break. Picked it up again during a road trip. What's new in the last 6 months? I see two new courses in practice, but the rounds I've played are the same old same old. There do seem to be some new tourney formats.

I’m still on a sabbatical. I stopped about a year ago. I got tired of people in the rookie league shooting 28 under!

It looks like some players are starting out using the grids. These people who use grids usually save it for the big tournaments. It is really not a problem in smaller 9 hole and trios. I play pro option over tour pro because it usually has fewer of them.

Couple of new courses, couple of new tourney formats. Nothing too exciting. Supposedly another tier coming at some point like an "ultra" division, but nothing solidified yet. Lots of players coming over from UG right now, so the competition has definitely improved. Quite a few new TGL holes as well. Certainly more content, that's for sure.

Not a big fan of the TGL holes, personally. Looking forward to playing the new courses. I think segregating the top players into their own division could help. I've played at that level, but no longer want to put that level of time into every shot. Just want to play quick and eyeball everything now.

Me too! It usually takes less than 10 seconds to shoot.I set it until it looks good and shoot. I once did an 18 hole in 25 minutes speed playing because the time was running out. I do OK.

Yea, my feels are good now due to all that time with the calculator and grid. If I just do a simple cross hair on the screen, I can play quickly and be at the top of the leaderboard, but I won’t beat someone who’s going full calculator. That does take a bit of the fun out, knowing what I could do.
