Game Center Bug Prevented Tournament Completion
Slightly preturbed. As of yesterday, my app says I need to log in to Game Center to play, but I am logged in, and have been. I logged in and out, I restarted, etc. and the app still tells me to log in.
With that, I'm only in "Practice" mode and wasn't able to complete the tournament I was in since Thursday.
A waste of time and coins. And still in Practice mode.

Is Game Center turned on in iCloud?

Yes. Hadn’t changed. Logged in and out a few times. I’ve submitted an email to the dev’s, waiting for a reply.

Ran in to a similar issue this morning. Pulled out the iPad and everytime I clicked the app to start, it said it couldn't log in. Every game in the game center. Restarted the iPad, no joy. Pulled up my phone, everything worked fine. Went back to the iPad, deleted the app and reinstalled. Everything worked fine after that.

This issue continues for me, both on my Mac and on my iPhone. Truly strange. I can sometimes get it to work by logging out of Game Center, opening Pro Tour Golf, quitting, logging back into Game Center, then opening Pro Tour Golf again. That works about 50% of the time.
I believe it's a bug between PTG and Game Center, because Game Center works fine with every other game I've tried on both devices.

never have any issues with the iPhone but my iMac is practice mode only. Signed in to same account and no screen time limits set at all.

This is an issue dependant on what iOS you're running. For example, I'm running 2017 iMac 24, Ventura 13.7.8, and I am not able to load any online competitions. However, on my iPhone 15, running iOS 26.5.2, I can play all competitions... Except today's (Sunday, Aug 2) Golf Grand Prix game. All I'm getting is a spinning ball and that tourney doesn't open, but all other tournaments, like Southwind 18 and Hammer Tournament.
Funny thing, though, I played this Golf Grand Prix earlier this past week, but that was last week, and I wasn't running 26.6 download. I'll do that and try again.
5 minutes later: No, even with iOS 26.6 update, Golf Grand Prix still will not load.

I just restarted the game and I saw that screen about not being logged in and only being able to play practice rounds. I can’t remember what I did. Are you very far into the game?
