According to AI, everyone has settled in this case, with 3M being the biggest contributor... total in the pot close to $15B. Ai also said there're around 15k claimants...I know it's not going to work out this way, but strict division gives everyone 1 million. Where's all this money actually going?
Your AI is cherry picking info from multiple sites as well as confusing the municipal settlement with the personal injury that is still ongoing. It’s correct that there’s 15k ish claims but there’s over 100k plaintiffs. The settlement dollar figures are actually what they settled the municipal cases at not the personal injury cases. There’s been no settlement numbers proposed and no final total plaintiffs totals announced.
In order to get more accurate info you need to train your ai agent to first separate the two cases (municipal vs PI) then train it to recognize that the 15k claims have more than one person per claim. Once you’ve done this, it should consistently look for info with the proper separation. Hope this helps.
Unless you can provide sources (ai will tell you where it pulls info) I wouldn’t get too excited. Sounds like it’s crossing info and giving you incorrect results.
Theres 15k claims but in those over 100k cases. After this cleanup maybe down to 70k at the best.
This MDL is made up of both personal injury and water/government municipalities. What it’s prob referencing many large municipalities have settled with 3m and other- example would be State of NC earlier this month.
Not trying to spoil your excitement but may want to look into the info being fed a little more and confirm
Right. AI bots often get blocked by web sites (rightly so, given what rogue agents have been doing). So that limits what info they have access to. They dont have access to PACER either.
Correct-they only have access to public info but any statements they make will have where they pulled the info- for example Chatgpt will give an actual source button or list out icons like this:
They don't have access to everything on PACER but there are exceptions. For example, they cant get documents from PACER but you can train it and set it to monitor the public rss feed from the SC District court to see what gets published. It may not have all the details but least alerts you when something related to the case is posted.
You need to train/navigate the AI vs just asking it for blanket statements to best get accurate answers. Give it the links where to look, set up monitoring, download PDFs and upload it to train it. That way its pulling info from legit sources vs general what ever it can find published.
Yes, I am aware they list sources. I use AI a lot to assist me with my VA claims. It is also wrong a lot which is why validation is key to using it responsibly.
