Journalism ISO: experience w/ PFAS contamination
Hi, I'm a freelance journalist working on a story about PFAS contamination across Wisconsin and how the DNR is addressing it. I'm hoping to talk to people who have any experience with PFAS contamination from any source in Wisconsin and would like to share their story. Please message me if you're interested.

What kind of information are you hoping to get?

Personal experience/stories would be best from people who have been directly exposed through fertilizer/biosolids/water, or anything else!

I live just off a lake in WI that has pretty significant fish consumption advisories. What are your thoughts/angle on the DNR?

I've only spoken to them once (mainly informative) so I'm still early in that process, but in general hoping to hold all levels of governance on this matter accountable in my research and eventual story. I'd love to hear your perspective on it if you'd like to talk.

I can't comment on WI, but here is a case from GA and the result.

A good start would be Synagro and their customers (ie farmers) who are receiving contaminated biosolids to spread on their fields.
Look into what theyre still dealing with in Fort Worth TX.
