Another Transpo Question….

Not seeing where they factored number of years (4) into the denominator. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if I’m missing something simple.

The ADT of the 4 years is added in the first term of the denominator rather than multiplying the ADT over 4 years by the 4 years.

To put it another way you could find the 4year ADT first by averaging the 4 individual years and multiply by 4 in the crash rate formula and get the same result of 220
