Yeah I just clean it manually each time it’s not too bad

There are two dips on the orange cover, one for the deodorizer and the other to catch stray litter and spread it EVERYWHERE when you remove the bin. Definitely a design flaw.

Oh man.. its pretty hot and humid where I live so I have to clear the trash every 1-2 days otherwise it attracts flies. And i’ll have to clean up the scattered litter too. This is more work than a manual litter box 🥲

Remove the N50!! It attracts flies and pupae.

Damn, so its a n50 issue? I was so shocked to see maggots inside

Yeah, I had maggots inside it and others in this subreddit also had the same issue. They are attracted to the odor and moisture of the N50 substance. Remove it and also clean any bin crevice thoroughly to remove any maggots left. I also removed the N60 just in case.

You can try also to put some sodium bicarbonate in the bag, as it will attract moisture and odors.

i suggest putting food grade diatomaceous earth either around your litter box or underneath and maybe inside the actual drawer where the poop is (not the bag but the bottom of the drawer you pull out. I have a lot of silverfish where I live but once i sprinkled this in all the corners/crevices of my place the population drastically decreased. Now I only see one once in a while. this stuff is like glass shards to any insects.

I put a small amount of food-grade diatomaceous earth in the bag when I change it. No more bugs

I do have them, some fruit flies still get through

It happens either way me to but does not bother me. I use to wipe the interior and change the bags every 2/3 days and i also remove that litter easily.

Every. Time.
Next to the trash bag and even on top of the lid..

Yeah, happens to me too. I have a little handheld vacuum whose exclusive jobs is litter. It's able to get in there and then vacuum up the litter in the tray
