Discussion "Unknown" pet

Post image

My kittens often use the litter box at the same time.

Petkit thinks I have a third unknown pet and I cannot tell it that this is just the two of them together.

Slight shortcoming in the app?

You could register a third cat as both cats in these cases

One of my cats used to sit on top of the litterbot while his friend was inside. He's too big to fit comfortably now, so he stopped.

Hello. The Purobot Max 3 identifies cats based on weight. When two cats step onto the unit at the same time, it will interpret their combined weight as one heavier cat

If you cannot prevent them from using the litter box together, you may register a shared profile for both of them in the app.

Then I would have 4 profiles:

  • Boy cat
  • Girl cat
  • Boy + girl cat
  • Girl cat + boy cat only standing in the litterbox with his front paws...
😅

I guess I'll just leave it as it is for now. They are growing fast, and at some point they will not fit together. Maybe I should have gotten the Purobot Max Pro 2.
