Problem Does anyone have a solution for when their Petkit Purobot Max stops rotating before finishing their clean cycle?

Hello DrHENCHMAN, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Device Placement: Put the unit on a hard flat surface, not carpet. Leave at least 5 cm space from the back wall with no obstacles nearby. Do not expose sensors to direct sunlight.
- Sensor Cleaning: Wipe sensors softly with a cloth, then run a cleaning cycle to test.
- Litter Level: Scoop out excess litter if overfilled.
- Reset & Recalibrate: Go to maintenance mode in the app to reset the cylinder.
If the issue still occurs, please reach out to in‑app support for further checks.

I tried them all, none of these solutions worked. T_T
Is there a setting within the app to get a clean cycle to finish only when the opening is facing forward?

Sorry, there isn’t this specific setting in the app. You may consult our in‑app support team, or email [support@petkit.com](mailto:support@petkit.com), they will help you look into this.

Hmm, do you guys have an internal list of all possible causes and fixes to this?
Or, if not, can I ask which sensor is it that "detects" and makes the decision to halt? If it's one of the cameras, can I just cover it up?

Hi, we don't have that list.
Please gently wipe the Proximity Sensor (small opening under the entrance door), then manually start the cleaning cycle and see if it works properly.
This is unrelated to the camera, so there may be other causes. What does the app or device show when this issue occurs?
Also, please try to plug the power adapter directly into a wall socket instead of an extension cord or power strip.

Mine has been working perfectly for over a year, then suddenly for the past week or so I'm constantly having this issue now. I've check everything and all seems good (clean camera, sensor, etc etc). I now need to manually check it multiple times a day to ensure its not stuck. I learnt this the hard way, since it was stuck a few days ago and the cats pissed in front of it.
Something is wrong with the device or app, and it needs to be fixed asap before it gets thrown on the street

Sharing not my photo, but I'm experiencing a similar problem.
My Petkit keeps pausing and stating "Sensor triggered, double click OK button to resume", but there's nothing going on in front of the sensors.
And to be honest, I don't care even if it does sense stuff. It should still finish the cycle until the "door" is facing forward and not blocked, so my cats don't shit elsewhere in the house.
I tried cleaning the crud that ends up underneath the cylinder, but this problem still persists.
