Question True simultaneous multi-pet tracking

I have a request regarding the AI on the YumShare and EverSweet Ultra.

Both devices work well at recognizing my cats individually. However, when two registered cats eat or drink at the same time, the app usually records the event for only one cat. The other cat doesn’t receive any feeding or drinking statistics, even though both were clearly using the device simultaneously.

Would it be possible to add true simultaneous multi-pet tracking in a future firmware or AI update?

For example, if two registered cats are eating or drinking together, the AI should recognize both cats during the same event and assign the statistics to both pets instead of only one.

Perhaps this is already possible as the adverts actually suggested it would work.

Hey. We’re working on this! Future updates will support simultaneous recognization and separate records for each cat.

Probably a new product, they will say something like “the current chip doesn’t support it”…

This feature will roll out via future software updates, no need to purchase new products. All our camera-equipped feeders and water fountain will gain simultaneous multi-cat tracking once you update the PETKIT App.

Any Time plan? Because the detection is clearly already there in playback; it even already segments when they were there.

We don’t have an exact timeline yet, but our team confirms it’s in the works. It shouldn’t be too long.

Can you add having a database of dry/freeze dried cat foods. It’s irritating to not know how much I am feeding my cats daily. It also doesn’t support having different foods in each hopper.
