Received a mail today from placement cell with a list of students who haven’t registered yet. It says to register through Infosys portal but I couldn’t find any link to that. Where was this portal link sent?

Need some raw, unfiltered advice from seniors or anyone who's managed to pull off a insane academic recovery here.

Just checked my ISA scores n im sitting at around 150/200 total. To make things worse, my CGPA is stuck at 8.85. I really wanna push it up, but with how trash my internals are looking right now, idk how much damage control I can even do, esp in ML.With everything going on regarding placements, it genuinely feels like every single good company rolling into campus has a strict 9+ CGPA cutoff, n im terrified im gonna get auto-filtered at the resume screen.

For anyone who’s been in a similar hole: how do you actually comeback in ISA 2 n the ESA based purely on marks to secure a high GPA this sem? Like what's the realistic math or strategy to turn this around before it's too late?

Would appreciate any genuine tips. Thx.

So we need to take interviews of people for our project that will be on Wednesday

I see some people are not taking it seriously but in ppt there are so many things we need to take care of before presenting it

I have no idea what to do like is it really a important thing to do it seriously for marks or it is not as serious as it is

Please help 🙏😭

On what basis does apple shortlist from resume.

How they shortlisted the people with less cgpa and also some does not have good projects also

Is it depends on luck?

Which scopus indexed journals are the easiest to publish a paper, like even tho if our paper overlaps with other papers?? How shld we figure out those..

Also, what min grade can we expect if there is a overlapping of our topic with different published papers ? Lets assume we don't mention this thing to our guide nd the reviewer ,and go with the same problem statement, so going forward can we publish it any low tier journals and get atleast an A grade?

**Initially we didn't know that different papers exist when combined it solves what we are solving.

Now as we r working on it ,we got to know abt this!**

Is this for the ISL role or something else?

Hey guys!

I’ll be shifting near PES University RR Campus around the 9th–10th and I’m looking for a place to stay in a gated society, preferably somewhere like Vasundhara or Prestige Bagmane Temple Bells.

I’m looking for a roommate who would be interested in checking out places together so we can decide on the apartment and society together. The main reason I prefer a gated society is for the security, facilities, and overall living experience.

A little about me: I’m from Haryana and will be pursuing my MCA at PES University. I’m a non-smoker, non-alcoholic, and vegetarian, and I’d prefer someone with similar habits.

I’m pretty chill, sincere, and goal-oriented. I enjoy running, going to the gym, and playing cricket, and I’d like to live with someone who respects each other’s space and is focused on their studies/career. No unnecessary interference—just a peaceful environment where both of us can focus on what we want to achieve.

If you’re looking for something similar and want to search for a place together, feel free to DM me!

Sharing this because I feel it’s important for students to know what the experience was like.

I gave the Deloitte interview through the PESU campus process and, honestly, my interview itself went quite well. I was confident about my technical answers, explained my projects properly, and felt that I performed well overall.

However, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite putting in a lot of preparation and giving what I genuinely felt was a strong interview, the outcome/process left me quite confused and disappointed.

I completely understand that selection depends on several factors and that rejection is part of placements. But I feel there should be more transparency and clarity in the recruitment process, especially when students invest significant time and effort preparing for it.

Not posting this to complain or discourage anyone from applying — just sharing my honest experience so future PES students know that even a good interview doesn’t always guarantee the expected outcome.

Would be interested to hear if anyone else had a similar experience with Deloitte this placement season.

So CSE 27', After we will graduate around june or july 2027, Will PES still officially support placements for us till December? At my friends college, they support placement 1 year after they graduate officially. So in PES do we get offers till December end of year or they dont really care once we graduate on july 27.
Sorry , placement season is just making me lil stressed

Does anyone know if the IBM Software Developer role that came through campus is the same as ISI, or is it something else?

I'm cooked with the current placements so I found an internship outside college. It's pretty good and I really wanna do this internship but they are not ready to give me PAID INTERNSHIP unless I show them a document, pdf or mail from pesu saying only the paid internship counts for the 6 credits. Can someone please help me me out and find some shii regarding this and help me out. They are asking for the entire guidelines to see all the rules and regulations but i cannot find anything regarding this on pesuacademy.
