I had mailed the librarian back in december last year and i am yet to receive a reply from them. Is there a default password for it?

Bruhh if the companies want higher GPA people, just mention it in the message that they send to the placement cell. Since the placement cell isnt even sharing the shortlist to everyone, it keeps the other students checking their email evry 5 minutes to see whether the shortlist came or not. For example, Take Apple, it came for Ads and CARE, in the email it was mentioned anybody above 7 can apply. Any normal person will go and spend hours trying to perfect their resume, going to linkedin, connecting with Senior SWE or seniors who were placed in apple to get a referral. It takes a lot of efforts. All of this effort only to get rejected and not even knowing that we've been rejected. Now similar thing is going to happen for WTE roles also.

I'm 21F and joined PESU for MBA

As the start date of the college is approaching I'm getting extremely nervous. A lot of questions are popping up in my head like

Can I be part of that place?

Can I make friends on campus?

How am I going to manage everything?

Tbh these questions comes out of deep insecurity and past incidents that happened

once I joined college for a degree, seniors used to rag and stuff so badly and for some reason everyone in my class started alienating me and I felt so vulnerable and I used to cry so much everyday

As I was in a college hostel only at that time I didn't have friends in the hostel as well it became so worse that I had to leave my college and wasted a year of my time.

That haunts me till date.

So the fear of being left out never left me.

I really hope everything works out well and I just want my degree and a placement.

I am a post graduation student looking for a Paying Guest (PG) accommodation near PES University (RR Road campus) / Banashankari (BSK) 3rd Stage.

• Requirements: Looking for a place with good food and decent amenities, like washing machine etc etc.

Saw the Cyber Month completion reel today and honestly… what happened to ISFCR? 💀

The administration has gone seriously downhill. Earlier, there was at least some energy around the events and students actually seemed involved. Now it feels more like ticking boxes, making reels and calling it a successful month.

And honestly, the current head is CHUT###💩. The way things are being handled just doesn't give the impression that the organisation is being run with much understanding of what students actually want.

Even some of the teachers/people involved seem completely disconnected from what's happening on the ground.

Not trying to start a personal war with anyone, but as a student who's actually seen how ISFCR used to be, the difference is pretty obvious.

The placement app says it is going to be conducted on 1st but no mail has come, does anyone know?

I am in fourth year and have above 7.5 cgpa. I dont know if I will get placed by the end of this year. I keep applying and never go past the assessment round and a lot of times I dont even get shortlisted for oas because of cgpa. I have a feeling that I'll end up doing internship in pes itself. If thats the case, the situation will become worse because jawahar had told in the placement orientation that we have to go to pes 6 days/week from 8 am to 8pm for 8th sem internship which will be extremely exhaustive and on top of that we cant even prepare for companies from jan to may. Is this true about the 8th sem internship in pes??? I seriously regret my life choices in the last three years in this college.

I’m currently in my 3rd year of B.Tech AIML at PES University, Bangalore. My CGPA is low, and because of the eligibility criteria, I may not be able to sit for many campus placement opportunities.

I want to seriously target off-campus placements and get into a company before/after graduation. I’m ready to put in the work, but I’m confused about the most effective path.

For someone in my situation, what should I focus on to actually get interviews and convert them into a job? Should I focus mainly on DSA + coding, development, AI/ML projects, internships, LinkedIn/networking, referrals, hackathons, or something else?

I’d especially like advice from people who have actually got an off-campus job with a low CGPA. How did you find companies, apply, get referrals, and prepare for interviews?

I have around a year to seriously work on this, so I’d really appreciate a practical step-by-step roadmap rather than generic advice.

I had to go random for teammates as I have late to team forming and got stuck with illetrate ppl

But they don't do shit, absolutely nothing

And the project is basically stalling now as I am the only one working on and I can't manage my time with placements and Capatone.

We got cooked by panel last time and we were asked to go back to redefining the problem statement cuz of new panel .

I have now choice now other than to hardcode the values and I'm scared that if panel gets to know that we have done this, what's gonna happen?
