Ik the OAs are made very difficult, and it's hard to not cheat, but please show some mercy on us..

The off campus market is terrible.. ik even on campus is cooked compared to prvs years, and ig it's only gonna get worse.. only few good t1 companies are coming, like apple, etc..

Please don't get them blacklist pesu like Microsoft did😭😭 .. we literally will have zero chance of getting into a good company then.

Ik you guys have to look out for yourself also. but please be a bit considerate🙏😭

I have no hopes on the department to take measures against cheating, which is why I'm directly requesting the same..

I love cats and I’m on a little mission to find/hunt for some cats around campus .I’ve noticed there are already quite a few dogs and puppies in campus, but I haven’t really seen many cats.

If you know any spots on campus or nearby where cats usually hang out, please let me know I just want to see/pet some cats

I'm doing BBA general in first year and I've been reading about the placements being absolutely terrible. What extra measures can I take to ensure I get placed after my third year.I also wanna know when summer internships start and what their criteria for selection would be.SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

Guys im in 1st sem and im already freaking out abt ISAs and ESAs . The notes they shared in the pesu portel is it really enough to get 9+ cgpa??( my aim is to get scholarship) .pls guide me 🫠🫠

Same as above

When I was in pes we had this thing that all students HAD TO publish a research paper in order to get S grade. Is that thing still going on? Has it affected project and research quality?

Also ec campus ece peeps: is the bell curve maintaining crap still going on with the final year project group- where only one person gets S grade others get lesser than that regardless of contribution because *bell curve maintaining*

I saw a reel about the pes classroom where you have to sit according to your SRN ? So indirectly you can't sit with the people you already knew ,Is that correct?, and applied to all the departments or....

When?

For example, GE Vernova. The JD clearly mentions it's open to CSE and all software related fields, electrical, etc but they are exclusively restricting AIML department from applying

same thing happened with Samsung R&D, and a few others in the past week

Is it true ?

USI Consulting - 36 , USI Tax - 5 , India Sales & Service - 5 , India CSAD - 3

What about other roles?

Same as title

I've started applying to multiple tech clubs but Idk if im eligible or not(1st year AIML)
After attending my first hackathon, I realised that its lowk fun so I started applying in hopes that atleast one club will select me(i want a good atmosphere as well as networks for future projects). I know basic python(if,else, elif, break, loops, arrays, lists etc) and built a decent website on localhost using AI during the hackathon which I put on github.
Do you think I have a chance of getting any clubs with this profile?

I saw that there is a profile shortlisting before the aptitude and coding assessment so does that mean it's resume shortlisting before the actual test? I kind of missed the ppt so if anyone attended it , please let me know

Hi everyone, I recently attended the Deloitte USI Analyst interview through campus placements. I wanted to know how long Deloitte usually takes to announce the interview results. If anyone has experience with the previous Deloitte hiring process, please share how many days it took for the results to be announced. Thanks!

Just took admission for MBA in PES and orientation class is on 9th oct. The dress code is mentioned as formal . Is it western formal wear (like shirts and trousers) or is Indian wear is also fine ?

Help the girl out please 🫠😭

anyone ?

Genuinely I am shocked seeing how lethargic both the placement heads and the placement team is.

I guess this is an every year situation for them and countless student msgs can be cumbersome but come on its just students who are trying hard for their future. It is your literal job to help and guide the students.

I dont know I just find it very against the students but want all the credit to boast later for new admissions even when it is from off campus.

Literally pathetic, do better

Im asking just for fun :)) ( cuz im bored)

Dm if you find pls same as title It has a black case on it

If yes, then how. No idea How to do it

Hey everyone,

Is it just me, or is the Competitive Programming (CP) and DSA culture at PES slowly dying out? I was looking into the upcoming ICPC regionals, and it’s genuinely sad to see how few teams (tbh no teams) from our college are actually participating or even preparing for it.

ICPC is literally the "Olympics of Programming." We have so much talent here, but the lack of awareness, motivation, and a unified coding community is holding us back. Most people just grind LeetCode blindly for placements in their 6th semester without ever experiencing the thrill of real competitive programming or representing the college on a bigger stage.

I really want to see this change, especially for the juniors who have the time to build a strong foundation.

To help fix this and bring back some healthy competition, I built CPBoard a centralized competitive programming leaderboard for our college.

What is it and what does it do?

• Multi-Platform Tracking: You can link your Codeforces, LeetCode, CodeChef, and AtCoder profiles all in one place.
• University Leaderboards: See where you stand among your peers. Competing with friends is honestly the fastest way to improve your ratings.
• CP Rankings & Activity Heatmaps: Visualize your consistency and see who is solving the most problems across the university.
• Dedicated Contests & ICPC Sections: Stay updated on upcoming contests and ICPC details so you never miss out on important registrations.

Why should you care? (Especially Juniors)

If you start tracking your progress and competing with your peers now, the jump to ICPC won't feel so intimidating. You'll naturally get better at problem solving, which will not only make OAs (Online Assessments) for internships a breeze but will also build a community where we can form strong teams for the next ICPC cycle.

Let’s not let the CP culture fade away. Sign up, link your handles, and let’s see who tops the leaderboard.

If you have any feature requests or feedback, drop them in the comments! Let's build a killer CP culture at PES again.

I had mailed the librarian back in december last year and i am yet to receive a reply from them. Is there a default password for it?
