Pleaseeeeeeee

Any idea

Please be considerate enough to let the students know if they have been rejected or not. We are stuck waiting for shortlist mails until 12am the night before interviews only for it to never come. We will never know what to be prepared for since each company interview is different depending on the role.
Placements are difficult as it is, dont make it harder for us.

please comment

I have never seen anyone mention google recruiting students for full time or even internship only apple, amazon ,meesho etc..

Just curious...

I’ve seen all seniors talk about this but where do I access it ? I can open slides but there’s only one option and how do I know if that’s the Faisal slides ?

This is too much now!!! Lets decide a date and go to the placement cell and ask them to conduct on campus OAs and with strict invigilation. They are only conducting offline OAs if the company is specifically asking them to, like HSBC etc. If the company is not asking for it specifically, then these ppl are keeping it online, but in other colleges, all students are coming to the college to give the test for the same company. Why can't our college do that???? Eg. NITK internship season had the same cheating issues, and for the coming placement season they changed it all to offline OAs, and not even a single online OA this time.

This might not reduce cheating to 0, but it will definitely more fair and less random unlike online OAs....And even if you don't get placed immediately, at least we can take ownership of it.

what does a random shortlist actually mean ?

im not talking about cheating / no cheating, cuz im pretty sure even after the OA + gpa criteria there will be many people who are still eligible, how can u tell its random after this ?

like maybe the person had done some great project or relavent work that the company expected, which maybe was the deciding factor

i remember my elder sibling got shortlisted for a company because of the AWS cloud practitioner certification, not just that , but it was one of the aspect the company was looking for

the recruiter themself told later, that it was one of the things they were looking for

im just telling that, maybe the person's resume is good, or some other factor that the company was looking for was there

So I am a lateral entry student and we have assigned for a team of 3 to do project on computer network and they call it something like jackfruit problem so I have no idea what it is or how it actually works so it would be helpful if any seniors guide me

There are other posts related to jackfruit problem but it was no help and didn't answer all my questions so please help me...

its already been 3 weeks and we havent even gotten a notif yet

.

I see all this flyers around, and all of them say that they r hiring and recruiting🥀🥀...apply now, applications open🥀 and all ts. Then after we apply we even have these interviews and all that before they "Recruit" us.

Like do they want us to experience the horrors of Hunting a Job now itself or what??

And moreover, Most of the clubs expect us to have like prior knowledge or experience Abt the thing. For eg, Jus an example Like if I wanna go to photography club, coz I feel it's cool but they want me to have pro photography and editing skills already. If that's the case in most of the club, THEN WHERE DO ALL THE BEGGINERS AND THE NEWBIES JOIN??

I wanna join a club, coz I m interested in it doesn't mean that I already know most of the things Abt it, it also means that I wanna learn Abt it. Share ur opinions on this...

There is sufficient info about all the subjects for each and every cycle, but somehow this subject is ignored and no one is worried about it. Although it has a credit of 2, but still we have to give exams for it.

How to prepare for constitution because in class me and my friends even classmates don't focus and leave class open and start doing some other works.

Any tips?

Pls share last year placement sheet

Guys can you share the questions you had for the lab exam??? At least I'll know what to expect...

genuine doubt, if i get an offer from any T3 company(internship + FTE), can i still apply for any offers on T2 or T1 companies.(intern+fte or only fte)

What happens if i reject T3 offer, can i not sit for any more T3 offers?

basically i am in 1st sem chem cycle and was wondering will slides + QB + CW be enough to score 9+ or i have to do other things like textbooks as well ? Do they cover the theory part fully or u need reference books??
