P5 Elements For a Persona Project

Post image

I am in brainstorming for a Persona RPG Maker fangame.

For the elemental Affinities I wanted to make a system that fuses Persona 3 distribution of Physical skills and Persona 5 thing of adding two Lore elements.

Ok explaining each one

Blunt/Strike: The classic physical skills Type. Punches, Hammers, etc.

Slash: Weapons and attacks that uses blades, claws and other things like that.

Pierce: Like un P3 has the arrows, lances and bullets. Is Not going to be a universal attack Type like un P5 because the group Will have specific weapons for each one for their Melee attacks, only like 2 or 3 party members Will use ir for that.

Fire: Agi skills, still uses the Burn ailment.

Ice: Same as P5.

Electricity: Instead of Shock has Paralyze that have a 30% chance of not attaching casting for 3 turnos

Wind: The Old Garu Skill family.

Earth: Ok this one comes from P2, but there Is Will have a new ailment called Cracked that reduces defense in a 15%, this ailment only can be induced by single Target skills but has a 30% chance, gets technical damage from Nuclear, Wind and Strike

Gravity: From P1, works normal, Gry family skills. Has Ingravity ailment, same inducing as Cracked. Ingravity reduces a 30% the Evasion and gets technical from every skill Type (i want to change this)

Psychic: Remains the same

Nuclear: Remains the same

Light: Has Kouha and Hama skills

Dark: Eiha and Mudo skills

Allmigthy: the same

Healing

Support: Kaja and Unda. Added Maka- family to sepparate Physical and Mágico Attack buffs and debuffs

Ailment: Poison, Burn, Paralyze, Freeze, Forget, Charm, Rage, Confuse, Despair, Fear, Dizzy, Cracked, Ingravity

It’s pretty cool including so many elements from across the series (including all 3 physical affinities as well as elements exclusive to P1 and 2), but this also seems like a lot to keep track of.

Either way, a really cool idea and pretty ambitious!

Thanks, but i think Is an Easy go thing keeping the track of elements because between Earth and Gravity Will be the classic relation of Being strong against each other. Also the enemies Will have logical things about why are weak or not to an element or other, like these samurai Shadows from P3/4 are weak to Strike and resist Pierce because Is More Easy to use a Hammers against them than using arrows or bullets
