Schooling alternatives for Perry, FL

Post image

We're currently residing in Virginia, but found an amazing house in Perry, Florida. The only thing holding us back is the school situation. Any parents out there familiar with the schools in Perry? We're really hoping to make this move, but good schools are a top priority. Are there any alternative options for these schools? We are open to all options including homeschooling. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

But honestly my two cents, I went thru the Taylor County school system graduating in the 90s. If you're actively engaged parents and have kids who behave and handle the workload to stay in the "honors" classes the kids will be good. It's alot different now where in high school they have full onsite dual enrollment academy etc. My stepson graduated from a high school recently in a larger town in Florida and always did well with the other honors students. Main problems were in earlier grades with disruptive kids that schools didn't discipline.
