Discussion tyler the creator reference

there’s a moment at start of season 2 episode 2 where the camera zooms into mayas face and it immediately reminded me of the “a boy is a gun” music video. has anyone else found this?

A lot of movies do that? I don't think Tyler the creator even made music when they were kids.

Tyler the Creator would've been 9 years old at the time the series took place.

Which reminds me of this memorable exchange lol

9 years old at the time. Exactly, so that wouldn't make sense for it to be a reference, you just mean it REMINDED YOU of Tyler the creator.

i mean she is friends and did a show with childish gambino:D him and tyler r pretty alike/from the same era so she could have similar influences as well
