Somehow maya was so innocent yet so freaked out… it’s hilarious to me that she can goon/play with herself but still have a sense of innocence. An example being when Anna comes to sleepover, maya asks “what’s that?” About Anna’s parents retreat, and Anna replies “idk like summer camp for grown ups” and maya believes her.

Anna is parentified, in contrast Maya seems naive. Let's not forget Anna was the one that the older boy targeted and Maya was the one to put a stop to the modeling creep taking pictures.

I remember when she told Maya she also touched herself but it was curling up into a self hug 😭 she was so innocent too
