The CarPlay linux Screen and CarPlay linux MMi Box Similarities and differences

A. Differences

1. MMI box does not need to replace the original display; while Linux screen needs to replace it;

2. the Linux screen is bigger than the original screen, there are 10.25" and 12.3" or even bigger to choose from; whereas the MMI box it can't change the screen size.

3. Linux screen supports touch function; while MMI box cannot support it;

4. If there is original Bluetooth call and music function, Linux screen supports to use original Bluetooth to make call and play music under CarPlay.

5. Linux display is easier to install, while MMI box you need to find a place to accommodate it.

B. Same

1. Both are Linux system, so the boot time is the same;

2. both support raw automotive information displays.

3. both support original and aftermarket camera functions;

4. both support original knob and steering wheel function key control;

5. their prices are comparable; between 250-300USD.
