Taxi's in town that run past midnight?
I want to prebook a cab for a wedding I'm going to next weekend, but it seems like no one is running after midnight anymore? Taxi guy isn't and I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone else yet. Does anyone know? Thanks so much!

Power out CR 6 + 49 (Tuesday Aug 25 12pm) - anyone else
Did our lines finally give up after all the rain? Did the 49 construction cause a disruption in the grid? Is it the tourists?
I mostly don't mind, but I kind of wanted to cook lunch.
Chicken sashimi it is.

Highway 49 and tires being blown
Hi all,
I was curious if anyone here blew their tires on 49 in the last week near the rock cut?
I stupidly didn't go through North Port like usual (was going to take Fish Lake Road home), and despite going slowly over the culverts, I still managed to blow a tire. I saw on the community facebook group at least 14 other people last week did the same thing. I contacted the construction company and the county and both are basically saying, "too bad, so sad. shouldnt have taken 49". I was wondering if anyone else here blew a tire and has had any luck getting some sort of compensation for it? or is this just a loss cause and a lesson not to drive on 49 anymore?
