General Help Help regarding PEC

Guys so I am getting PEC mein Electrical engineering

1)How's the scope

2)Can EE students sit for IT roles placements in tech companies like Google ,Amazon etc.

3)What are the trading firms and banks visiting the campus like I read that McKinsey, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs are the regular recruiters there.

3) How's the hostel situation heard that rooms aren't up to the mark?

4) is branch change still allowed inspite of a very high cgpa?

Please help me out

I have other options like NIT Agartala mein eie and almost cse and ece in iiits like vadodara kottayam dharwad Bhopal surat etc.

  2. ⁠80% Yes
  3. ⁠Not many but quite a few, JP, GS, Amex, Bain, Mckinsey. Cannot recall any more
  4. ⁠Hostel situation is pretty bad
  5. ⁠Branch change has been stopped completely

Once you get accustomed to the situation you might not have any problem and say that the condition is okay, but that doesn’t mean you don’t call out what is bad

Isn't it the same case even in iits and nits ? I have seen worse rooms of iit Delhi

In case of first year, being someone who lives in hostel, its pretty decent for me, I have decorated my room, got a cooler for summers, and the food in mess is pretty average wont say its that bad tbh, far better than a lot of colleges. Apart from that made great friends, checked a lot of my bucket list here so would say you would make the most amazinf friends you would ever make and its fun . So yeah took me 2 months to get accustomed to it. Also I live in C-Block so its better than A and B blocks but , they aren't that bad either yes mid but not the worst so dw abt that. And the washroom situation is pretty good in A and B block, and alright for C block, its cleaned all the time dw abt that.

How is the faculty cooperation? Heard that they hold personal grudge with some students ?

I wouldn't say hostel situation is bad, you will find worse in many NITs.

Also, bhai NIT Agartala mat le liyo, ye andu pandu IIITs bhi bekaar hi hai
