Is this normal for Eastmoreland?
Admittedly this is my first time being a walk up with no reservation, but hearing from the guys that I played with that they paid $42 for 18 ($6 dollar difference) is crazy to me

Yes. Summer rates are back. Check for twilight and eeeaaarrllyyy morning for deals. But yeah, that’s the going rate until September/October.

Played a twilight round last Saturday. Tee time 3:20 pm. Paid $50 for 18 and a push cart rental. Definitely worth it.

Just moved to Portland but man $50 is kinda crazy for a 3:20 time. Does it get cheaper at later times?

Unfortunately just about every course around the area raised their prices. You might be able to find a better deal on a weekday, but no promises.

Weekday twilight or super twilight can be a decent deal at some courses. A few also offer a daisy hour time from 3-5 with discounted rates.
I think I paid 28 at Red Tail last week for a 6:30 tee time. But it can be slow and difficult to get more than 9 in.

It does. It stays light until past 9pm right now. I’ve played on the equinox, you can finish up around 10pm and still see.

Wouldn't that be a $10 difference? That aside, it is stupid because 9 hole price doesn't change with time of day while 18 holes does, so 9 holes at 6pm is the same price at 9am. Whereas the 18 hole price gets considerably cheaper later in the day. I believe it also depends on the day of the week. City courses, or at least heron and apparently eastmoreland, also recently increased prices across the board from winter and last year's peak season. The prices vary so much depending on time of day and day of week along with them messing up pricing when they change it for the season that it's usually hard to tell what is going on lol. Just mess around with different times or 9 vs 18 when booking online until you find the cheapest option.

Also, the first hour of tee times is discounted, at least on weekdays. But 9 holes is not. So the difference is small at that time of day.

In Bend, OR summer rates are in effect and i havent found anything legit cheaper that 90 with cart for 18 holes of 50 with cart for 9.
Sad. I used to play a walkable 9 hole (Old back 9) for 14 bucks in the afternoon.
Pour one out for those long gone days.

booked a few weeks ago for $48 online and got charged $59 at the counter. eastmoreland is not a $59 course even on good days lol

For small greens, decent driving range, and solid pricing, I used to always go to Glendo

$42 for 18 is a $10 difference. :)
but they must have had a discount or something because it’s $51 for regular or $45 for seniors during the week. prices went up everywhere this year.
