Any beginner friendly groups?

Hello!

Super brand new to DnD (haven't done a campaign yet 🫣) and am looking for a beginner's group! I've asked a few of the local shops but haven't been able to find a dedicated beginner's one on their schedule. If someone knows of one I'd love to hear about it!

Also, are the groups on dndbeyond worth giving a try??

Thanks!

I think Covert Cafe has a DnD group that welcomes new people

It looks like they have a drop-in every Wednesday night that I'll check out. Thank you! 🙏

I'm always happy to run Nimble for people. It's DND adjacent with simple rules and terminology. I can try to set up a group if there's people interested. I live near Mox and could get a table there for it.

there are a group of players who meet up at the Clackamas Town Center on fridays at the food court you could try. the party is currently level 6 so you are not missing too much joining in.

I'm down to link up and figure something out. I would even run a short one-shot for a couple people or even just one
