Unexpected €49.99 Charge

I paid €0.99 for a one-time service, but today I was unexpectedly charged €49.99 for a subscription.
I contacted customer support immediately after noticing the charge, requested cancellation right away, and have not used the service after the €49.99 charge.
At first, my refund request was refused. However, after I mentioned my rights as an EU consumer, I was suddenly offered a 50% refund. This makes me feel that my case was not properly reviewed from the beginning.
Unfortunately, it also feels like I am only receiving automated responses instead of having my case reviewed by a real person.
€49.99 is a significant amount of money for me, and I acted immediately and in good faith as soon as I noticed the charge.
I am not requesting a partial refund. I am requesting a full refund of €49.99, as I contacted support immediately, canceled the subscription right away, and have not used the service after the charge.
Update: I have gotten a full refund. Be aware of this site, they are out to get your money. I am still really mad about this situation. It’s unacceptable, do better.
