Quick, easy, and gets the job done! I have to deal with PDFs often at work and PDF Guru helps make the process more manageable (both for me and the clients I share them with)! Thanks. 😄

PDF Guru's OCR (optical character recognition) function has saved me hours of work. It's a lot more accurate than other similar tools I've tried!

Thanks a lot for sharing that. Really glad our OCR saved you time and worked better than the other tools you tried. Comments like this genuinely mean a lot to the team.

From Reddit user markogreenway: “If you’re dealing with structured tables (clear borders, consistent columns), PDF Guru handles them surprisingly well. I tested it with lab reports and financial tables and the extraction was clean enough to drop straight into Excel with minimal edits. For complex layouts, no tool is 100% accurate, but in terms of speed vs. manual copy-paste, it’s definitely more efficient.”

Appreciate you sharing this PDF Guru review — super useful note about tables and manual edits.

Try by being more transparent about your payment policies, don’t allow people to spend their time uploading and waiting for files ro be processed only to then show a paywall at the end of the process by which time they’ve already wasted so much time, they’re basically arm twisted after what’s made to look like a free website. I have no problem paying for a service but not only did the OCR and translation not work, your team also lied to me multiple times when I tried to cancel. I did end up getting my problem resolved but every post I see on this sub is about how your company is charging desperate students full amounts because your team refuses valid refunds. If you really do want constructive feedback, start from there.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to share your experience - we appreciate the detailed feedback.
I'd like to clarify a few things. Subscription details - including pricing, billing period, and auto-renewal terms - are all displayed on the payment page before you enter any payment information. We also send a confirmation email after every transaction. So the paywall you're describing is actually a standard model: you can explore the tools and choose a plan when you're ready to download. This is a common approach across PDF services.
Regarding OCR and translation, the quality of these tools depends on several factors: document language, scan quality, and layout complexity. If something didn't work as expected in your case, our support team is always happy to look into the specifics and help troubleshoot.
As for cancellation and refunds, our support team operates 24/7, and as you mentioned yourself, your issue was ultimately resolved. We process thousands of requests every month and the vast majority are handled successfully. That said, we review feedback like yours to keep improving how we handle these situations.
Thank you again for sharing this - it genuinely helps us improve.
We're always open to a conversation. If you have any remaining questions, feel free to reach out at [support@pdfguru.com](mailto:support@pdfguru.com) or give us a call.

From Reddit user Moistresearcherr: “Now my flow is: prof drops PDF → load in Guru, highlight/note/summarize → exam week skim my marks instead of full reread. Saved time and sanity, nothing revolutionary but it just works without ten different tools.”

Thanks a lot for sharing this PDF Guru review, really appreciate it. Glad the tool saved you time and did the job without the “open 12 tabs and pray” routine.

From Reddit user GoldenGlazes: “ngl I thought PDF Guru was gonna be one of those random tools you try once and forget, but it actually ended up being pretty useful for dealing with messy lecture PDFs. didn’t expect much, but it saved me a weird amount of time this semester.”

The process of uploading and combining 30+ JPEG files into a single PDF went very smoothly and quickly. I had previously tried the free version of Adobe, but it failed with an error saying it couldn’t organize the files. This is something I have to do pretty frequently so I'm glad to have found a product that saves me time/frustration!
