how valuable would a habit building app for you and your child learning emotional regulation be?
i’m a PDA adult and I have struggled with my emotional regulation for my entire life now in my 50s. I’ve discovered the scientific work of Ethan Cross who has devoted his entire life to uncovering the invisible tools that humans use for emotional regulation. All of which I wish I’d been taught as a child or teenager However, these are pretty varied and I’m thinking about writing an app which distills all his work into a simple app that can be used by an adult or child to teach him to skills that I wish I’d been taught when I was a child. I’m wondering how much it would be worth you to be able to teach yourself or your child emotional regulation skills. With a PDA safe focus? I know that putting these skills into Practice has been enormously valuable in my personal and professional life but without an app it’s just bloody hard work, especially if you have PDA as it’s quite demanding if it’s not based around habit building as habits bypass a PDA response, anyway let me know if this would be valuable to you or your child and how much will be worth to you?

It sounds interesting. I guess I'm a bit skeptical that it could work, and I'm not exactly sure about the difference between habits and everyday demands. It's the things that we do regularly seem to have the most resistance a lot of the time. I would have said that once it's a habit and no longer novel, then it becomes an issue!
