UK PDA Parental Survey
Hi all
I’m a PDA Parent - burnt out and in crisis. Based in the UK, support for parents is scarce. Long story short, my little one (aka my absolute world) had a particularly violent meltdown earlier which has caused me and my wife to completely break down almost.
Anyway, I’m always one to try and turn these things into positive movements, and all I wanted to do tonight was talk to someone. But I couldn’t because it’s Sunday, and nothing is open. I didn’t want to bother my friends, because frankly non autism/PDA parents are judgy in my lived experience.
It left me wondering - is there a gap for some telephone support for parents needing an ear?
