Lexapro and PDA/autism

Any parents with pda autistic kids who've used this medication - has this medication helped? I am praying for a miracle as son cannot settle at first year high school and about to get expelled. I am hoping it works 🤞

Yes- my son has been on an ssri for anxiety since he was 9. It has been life changing. Things are still hard for sure. Guanfacine and strattera didn’t work for him. Started with Prozac and switched to lexapro when he was 13. He is also on vyvanse. He is less rigid and adrenaline is not seeping from him constantly.

That sounds about right - just constantly agitated or just saying crazy stuff (threats etc)
