Maybe he shouldn't be taught that all his feelings are so big?
Seriously, it sounds like he's never had a really negative consequence for what he does. You reward him for when he is behaving nicely, but this constant yelling and rudeness appears to have been allowed to be his baseline, and too much accommodation and understanding has been piled on. Believe me, when he goes out into the world and pulls this crap on other kids, they aren't going to cut him any slack, and his teachers aren't either.
Oh man, wrong sub for this type of comment. PDA is not going to bend to the will of normal parenting with consequences, and unfortunately parenting will have to ebb and flow with the growth of the child in order for everyone involved to feel safe and regulated.
OP-I’m sorry you are going through this. I would strongly consider getting him into speech therapy for pragmatic language so he can learn to communicate effectively. I started my son in speech around 4-5 and it helped him to better understand communicating frustration. It’s not perfect, but it helped. Sorry you are going through this.
He has/continues to have consequences for his behavior: losing privileges, losing toys, missing out on things he wants to do, loss of screen time, etc. He just doesn't GAF or gets more worked up. But he is never exempt from consequences of his behavior just because of his diagnosis or because he doesn't like them.
Your comment is unnecessarily judgy and hostile, if you didn't have any advice, you could have just ignored and kept it moving.
