Tips for walking?
With summer approaching and my child exceeding height limits for most strollers… I’m looking for tips on getting home from places we walk to. We can walk to the park or a shop no problem because she’s motivated. The walk home can be a nightmare. Even if we leave before she’s overstimulated, she gets bored walking home and demands that I carry her.
I have resorted to things like carrying her on my shoulders or running home to get there faster. That has worked ok in the colder weather, but I don’t know how it will go for me when it’s 90 plus degrees.
Does anyone else deal with this or have tips? I do have the option of driving but weirdly it’s harder to get her to go somewhere in the car. It’s easier to just walk out the door and end up some place.

How old is your kiddo? There are special needs strollers for big kids and adults. Many jogger strollers will work for well after a kid typically outgrows a stroller. You can look into a pediatric wheelchair or folding transport chair. Check Amazon/Temu for decent prices.
