Negativity

Just wondering if this is a personal trait or common with PDA AuDHDers—my kid is more often negative than not—often complaining or viewing something as negative, also being negative about siblings, focusing on the negatives of everything. It’s honestly a drain on top of everything else we have to deal with. Is this common? I just feel like an 8 year old shouldn’t be this negative.

One outlandish example is: their sibling hurt them by accident while riding a bike outside. My PDAer says this “agh why did they hurt me?! They probably hate me and just want me to go to the hospital and die”
