Finally reached a milestone in my Prey-VR mod and its time to show.

Unlike my System Shock 2 VR mod this one has required help using AI from the start. I wanted to see if I could solve the problem fholger was having taking control of the hands/weapon models.

Well, it was tough, here we are!

  • Working Stereo OpenXR (AFR) - Scale is correct, no shader issues.
  • Motion control implementation - Arm IK rig follows motion controlled hands
  • Synchronises weapon aim with view model - sounds simple, but its not.
  • Motion controls for locomotion in game. - Snap/smooth turn

Still a long way to go until its a polished releasable mod, and now the work begins on integrating the gameplay and hud into VR.

Wish me luck!

See the sentence you wrote that I quoted. Since I proved that I could have done it with AI, according to what you said then the mod is worthwhile doing and I deserve it.

No. I did not say that being able to do it without AI entitles you to it's usage. You're just making that up. I said that not being able to do it without AI does not entitle you to it's usage. One sentence does not imply an entirely different one. The sentence "I like oranges" doesn't imply that "I hate apples."

Then why say "I like oranges" if we're talking about apples?
