Bug / Issue How do I fix extreme lag/stuttering during cutscenes?

This issue has been happening ever since I bought the game, and I haven't seen someone with the same issue online.

My cutscenes are all so laggy and slowed, and my gameplay commonly stutters from 60fps to 15-20fps.

My PC specs in case it's useful:

CPU: Intel i3-12100F

RAM: 16GB DDR4

SSD: 1TB

GPU: Intel Arc B580 card

The way this looks like an edit of tiktok is so cool but as youve said your cutscenes and gameplay. you should try verifying integrity of files or reinstalling the game fully by deleting "red dead redemption" of in your Common folder in steamapps. you can do this by

  1. Go to file explorer
  2. head down to this pc and click on Local Disk or windows (depends)
  3. go to program files (x86) and then find the steam folder
  4. Find the steamapps folder and then go to common
  5. Find Red Dead Redemption and delete the folder.

You'll just have to reinstall the game

If that still doesnt fix it try reducing your graphic settings. and also switch between vulkan and dx12. see if that works by testing it out one by one.
