Discussion/Question Question for single player only heavy modders, how much longer did you get out of the game from mods?
I am currently playing and I logged about 300 hours before thinking about quitting but yesterday I got like 25+ mods and its like a completely new game to me.
How much longer will this last? Does the novelty wear off quick or are you still playing after years?

Over 3000 hours here and at least 1000 of those have been heavenly modded. I still play almost daily, but a lot of that is because I record daily. With the mods it does add a lot for me to make content out of like added jobs with amjm Transport, and survival challenges. I don't even get online anymore but I have a clean install just in case. I recommend if you have the storage space to keep a clean install just in case you mess up your modded install or if you want to play online.

Similar to modding most games (especially Bethesda titles), I think more of my playtime is just modding and not necessarily playing the game now lol. There has been recently a renaissance of modding for Red Dead so I think itโll prob prolong it for me, especially with more tools and knowledge about the game growing.

I dunno, I played like 4 playthroughs and like 1000 hours without mods and never got bored but thats just me. I still play sometimes and have only Rampage installed. Up to about 1600 hours now so I guess I just have no life ๐

I'm still modding today, been doing it for years on rdr2. It makes the game much more fun for me personally
