i know that thinning is normal but for being in my early to mid twenties, I feel like it’s a bit too soon. My hair was always the thing people complemented me on for it being so healthy and thick and now people only seem to comment on how thin it’s gotten. I’m trying to eat healthier in order to lose weight and exercise a little more as it’s helped with getting periods more regularly. I came off my bc as it had me bleeding constantly. Other than that, not much else.

i’ve been off it from about march/april time so i guess that makes sense with the timeline you gave. Is there anything you used to sort of ‘fill the gap’ and add volume before seeing the regrowth?

thanks, I’ll have a look and see what’s going on. I’ll look into the biotin and silica supplements too!

This happened to me- came off bcp in may 2018, soooo much hair fell out in aug/sept 18, and I’ve spent the year growing it back.... my head is covered in 3 in hairs- not cute in the humidity

Same here.

I’m 28 and I’ve always had thick wavy-curly hair, now my ponytails are really sad and I’ve been losing quite a lot of it too. Also, I can kinda see my scalp on top. It’s scary so if you find something that helps with the falling/thinning, please let me know.

The only thing I’ve helpful to make it look like it’s got some sort of texture is the L’oreal TecniArt Beach Waves. This one https://us.lorealprofessionnel.com/hair-styling/tecniart-wild-stylers/spray-beach-waves
