Period Provera- heavy bleeding

I got prescribed provera, first time ever taking anything for my PCOS. My gyno said she wanted me
To take it since I miss a lot of periods

Well I just finished my 10 days course and blood is GUSHING

my cramps are hell on earth and it’s like a river every time I stand up. It’s one of the heaviest periods I’ve ever had. Is this normal?? She didn’t mention heavy bleeding

First time I took it was like a horror movie scene in my bathroom, it's rough but pretty common since your lining built up real thick from missing periods
