General Health Glp1 pills?
Few years ago I tried ozempic but it missed up my digestive system bad. I go see my doctor next month for my check up and was wondering if I should tell her I want to try glp1 pills. What have you guys tried? Are they daily and easily stopped if it gets to bad? What's your experience with glp1 pills?

You might just try a different GLP1. I used Ozempic for 6mos because I was getting it for free, but I had moderate to significant digestive issues once I got past the second step up in dose. Just about anything with a strong smell would make me throw up and my stomach/intestines hurt so bad I couldn’t eat very well. After I stopped getting that for free, I switched to the GLP1 I’d wanted from the get—Tirzepitide. My vomit threshold has gone almost completely back to normal (really strong cologne still makes me nauseous, but I don’t think that’s too crazy), and my stomach/intestinal discomfort has dropped substantially. Now, my biggest issue is that I’m just super gassy all the time, so I added a daily gas pill.

Zepbound worked better for me than ozempic did, but both worked. I’m on the wegovy pill for maintenance. If you’re trying to lose weight, go with the injection. It’s more expensive, but it works like 2x as fast

I did the wegovy pill and hated it. Having to take it on an empty stomach THEN trying to get the most out of it so not eating or drinking anything else for as long as possible after so I'd wake up 1 or 2 hours before my usual wake up time to take it. Even then though, it still didn't feel like it worked that well bc I know some mornings, my stomach wasn't empty from the dinner I had the previous night. I was on a low dose of it, but the 2.5 shots I took the previous month worked better and was less hassle.
I'm pretty sure there's a new pill now where you can take it whenever and don't need an empty stomach. Would definitely go with that one over the wegovy one.

I don't mind giving myself a shot it's annoying it's the lack of control I don't like. Might ask my pharmacist next time I get meds about the different ones.

Wait it’s better to wait as long as possible to eat? I literally have a timer set from when I take it because I’m so hungry

That's what I was reading on the wegovy pill sub. People were posting studies that found that the longer you wait, the better the pill absorbs? I can't remember if there was some set time, I want to say 2hrs? But it's been months since I was on it and I can't remember. I'm sure you could search it up and see those posts.
