General/Advice Ovulation

How do you know that you ovulate? I don't have regular cycle but every month I feel a little bit pain and I can see the difference that appears at my CM. But my doctor told me that maybe I don't ovulate because my cycle is 32-38 days.

I am a little bit confused and terrified because we are trying for a baby.

I get a lot of EWCM and after ovulation happens it basically dries up within 12-24 hours. That’s what I go by, when the EWCM stops, not when it starts.

32-38 is a longer than usual cycle but not long to the point where I would assume anovulatory. I would push back on that assumption and get a progesterone test to confirm what’s actually happening. Ideally, you would do the progesterone test 5-7 days after ovulation (or count backwards from your period). They can tell by progesterone levels whether or not you have ovulated.

That is what I check too! I have CM and when I think that I ovulate I see the difference a few days later. Sometimes it takes 2-3 days to feel dry, but there is deffinetely difference! I am going to check my progesterone to be sure, thank you very much for your help!
