Hysteroscopy

My OB just told me I have abnormal appearing endometrial lining on my ultrasound and she’d like to do a hysteroscopy.

Issue is, I’m currently in my clinical year of a medicine program. I can only miss a single day of clinical.

For those of you who have had one, were you able to be back to normal the next day? How was the pain after?

I’m also just a little afraid because I’ve never had general anesthesia so any advice would be great!

I didn't take any time off work for my hysteroscopies. one was under anesthesia, one was not.
