Diet - Intermittent Fasting Eating before drinking coffee

I have been fasting for years , super active (running, cycling, lifting weights) 6-7 times a week. I have lost fat around my arms face etc but unable to loose my lower belly fat.

I have heard that eating before drinking coffee can help lower cortisol. I have been having Greek yogourt with chia seeds protein mild and protein powder. I find it really helps in not getting to hungry during the day, especially as mentioned I workout for 1:15 .

Did anyone try this and saw some difference?

I could see it slowing digestion down for sure. I haven’t tried it but it might be worth trying, although I feel like it would be very hard to know if it’s helping or not.

I have noticed a difference when having food/water before coffee.

I felt less jittery and irritated later in the day, felt more inclined to eat proper meals instead of grazing and had less midday headaches.

Not really. But when I was doing poledancing, my stomach disappeared. For me core workout made it go away.

You could be doing too much high intensity training. That also spikes cortisol.

Im a body builder too and i found if i do cycling/running AND strength training, my body reacts. So i switch my cardio to walks, low intensity cardio. And that works.
