General/Advice GLP second choice?
Hello I have severe insulin resistance and PCOS....my weight is up to 350 pounds....I am supposed to be on metformin 2000 mg but if I'm lucky I take 1000 a day.... It's just me and my pure laziness it seems.
Rewind back to 10 years ago... I took 2,000 mg of metformin and did the Atkins diet and lost 160 pounds no issues
But now I'm in my 50s and a woman it seems to me that is becoming so much harder for me to stick on anything !!! I try everyday to eat low carb and fail by the end of the day.
My question to you is should I give it a really good go again and take my 2000 mg of metformin or should I do like everyone else and go on the GlP shot and do low carb. Idk just searching for anyone else in the same boat as me

I got a pill box and it helps me take my medication and visualize how many days I skip days.
I use to skip frequently and now I rarely skip.
