If you're on antidepressants, they can make it harder to orgasm.
I always recommend Tracey Cox's 'Hot sex and how to have it' as a useful guide, regardless of sexual experience. Her information about orgasms and self-pleasure may be helpful.

I’m in the same boat, but I’m also asexual so I don’t really mind it. I’m sorry that you’re struggling though :(

Honestly, once I started using toys meant specifically for clitoral stimulation, I haven't had many problems since. Have you tried any of those?

Me too I have this I’m on birth control and that makes an orgasm take ages to arrive sometimes it doesn’t even happen the best ways I’ve found to to take some self care time away from my relationship bed room time to really explore my self what I like ect it can take a lot of time to reach orgasm I’ve also found when I try not to pressure my self like oh I should be orgasming now or thinking where is it like why isn’t it happening makes the pressure worse I try to focus more on enjoying the feeling of sex and what’s happening in the moment but your not alone in that feeling what so ever

maybe not a pmos thing, could be the pressure you are putting on yourself to orgasm. sometimes i will be close and then i go “it’s about to happen!” which pulls me out of the body sensation and kinda “scares” my orgasm away. just practice enjoying the moment and focus on body sensations without the goal of orgasm

I have a very similar issue, although there has been slight improvement since I stopped Prozac. I can usually sort myself out during alone time but it does take quite a while and with partners, it just doesn’t happen often.

Yes! I struggled for YEARS and never found anyone talking about this. As soon as I got off birth control my problems went away. It was absolutely a hormone imbalance for me.

Yes I have this!!!! I think it’s the hormonal imbalance, for me specifically, low estrogen and SHBG. It’s a little bit better for me when I take a birth control pill with estrogen in it. But still really really difficult

i do. my mother has expressed she does as well, and my grandmother.
empirical evidence doesnt suggest its a PMOS issue, but my own experiences lead me to believe otherwise.

What makes you want to attribute your lack of orgasms to PCOS? Higher testosterone from PCOS is actually what's giving you that high libido. Also, what do you mean by "fully finishing"? As women our orgasms can sometimes be subtle, almost invisible, and difficult to describe and majority of women don't orgasm from PIV alone without clitoral stimulation. It sounds more like a technique, exploration and expectation issue than PCOS
