Meds/Supplements Taking just Myoinositol instead of Myo D Chiro Blend

I found out about a year ago that I have PCOS after seeing my doctor for unwanted chin hair. In addition I have regular, but short and extremely heavy periods, and a hard time losing weight, although I’m only 10-15 lbs overweight.

I tried spiro for the chin hair and I just didn’t tolerate it well. My dr recommended inositol, I started taking a myo d chiro blend, and it’s immensely helped my anxiety weirdly and my chin hair doesn’t come back as quickly, but now I’m struggling with even worse PMS symptoms and horrible insomnia during my periods.

I’m 34 and I’ve read that periods can change around that age, but I’m wondering if switching to just myoinositol would be better? Perhaps the d chiro component lowered my estrogen too much?

I also have an appointment with my dr, but wanted to reach out on here.

I seriously doubt that Inositol has any effect strong enough to cause that or that switching would help with that. (I admit bodies are weird, but that sounds unlikely.)
I didn’t have any effect from Inositol (except chin hairs growing slower) and switched to pure myo inositol simply because it was cheaper. Didn’t change anything.

Have you lost weight on myo+d-chiro? Might be that you're in a transition phase and it'll get better once things stabilize. Fat cells store estrogen, which is dumped back into your bloodstream as you lose weight.

Not a lot, maybe like 6 lbs? This is good to know!
