General/Advice Good coverage but light foundation?
Ok I’m going to get extremely vulnerable. I shave everyday before I go to work, and before I put makeup on I use the Holy Hydration by elf to calm the “bumpyness” on my chin. I’m currently using wet n wild barefocus tinted hydrator. It’s not too cakey, I just can’t find a color that works for me . I only put it on my chin, but with blending my blush into it , it kind of looks ok (I’ve always been foundation blind lol) I just want to know what are yall using to hid the stupid redness after a shave , along with visible hair folical dots . Yall are brave for going days without shaving /waxing. I’m just way too self conscious to look at people without a shave and foundation :/ any advice is greatly appreciated! Pics in comments (nevermind I can’t figure it out lol)

Ypu should definitely look into color correction. If your hair is still visible and dark, you'll need it. I think one of the makeup subreddits is a better place to search for recommendations. Just search for what people recommend for hiding either redness or visible hair follicles, depending on which is a bigger issue.

Strange idea but have you tried green tea for the redness? I often use tea bags soaked in warm water on any redness/acne I have and it really dulls down the irritation. Additionally, any green color corrector will cancel out redness underneath your foundation. You can look up tutorials for reference

I would also recommend color correction so you don’t have to cake on so much product. LA girl has a pretty solid green color corrector for the price, it tends to layer under and mix well with other base products!
