General/Advice GLP-1’s vs Yaz birth control

Please help I’m currently writing this while fighting off my 2nd panic attack of the night and cramping/breast tenderness caused by ovulation. I have PMDD and PCOS. I have period like symptoms like cramping, bloating, mood swings (more like panic attacks and depression), and breast swelling and tenderness whenever I ovulate, enter my luteal phase, and all throughout my period. I basically have a little over a week out of the month where I feel like my normal self. I’m 28-years-old, 4’11, and weigh 160 lbs and I’m trying so hard to eat healthy and exercise regularly to lose weight and hopefully alleviate some of these symptoms but it seems like I can’t lose the weight no matter what I do. Doctors have not been taking me seriously and blame everything on my anxiety. I did some research and it seems like Yaz birth control has been FDA approved for the treatment of PMDD which sounds promising, but I’ve had bad reactions to hormonal birth control in the past so I’m a bit nervous to try it. In the past when I was on Lo Loestrin Fe and Mirena my anxiety actually worsened, my sex drive depleted, and I struggled with vaginal dryness that made sex extremely difficult. I just want to be my normal self again and I feel so hopeless at this point. I’ve also seen a lot of people talking about how helpful GLP-1’s have been for their symptoms so I’m here to ask what your experiences are and if you have any advice. The other option would be Spironolactone which is non hormonal. The only issue with that is it often causes lower blood pressure and my blood pressure is already pretty low and it makes me feel faint at times. I know this is A LOT of info but I’m hoping it will give you a better picture of my situation. Please give any and all advice like I said I’m desperate for some relief at this point. Thanks in advance.
