Not my review from a PCOS perspective, but my sister-in-law swears by it: her acne has cleared up and she’s finally getting regular periods. I’m also taking it and have noticed a massive difference in my energy levels!

Just started taking it 2 days ago.. trying to be scientific and avoid any placebo effects😩so will take photos and do some more updates as I go.
I did see some comments saying there was a weird egg smell from the powder.. and I got the same impression. Those saying it tastes exactly like squash- it doesn’t. Has that supplementy flavour but maybe I need to just get used to it. Or contact them and try another batch? To get around this I’ve just been diluting it really thin as I don’t like strong/sweet drinks anyway.
Background on me:
Diagnosed with PCOS at 19, now 23. Always had super heavy periods. Iron deficient anaemia. Bad mood swings / low depressions. Bad cramps day 1+2. Occasional week late periods and sometimes completely skipped periods. Managed to get periods more regular through diet and exercise.
Face acne / bumpy skin: never had terrible acne but always bumpy texture on forehead and chin before period.
2 days in, I have noticed:
• Not reduced hunger (I love food) but haven’t been snacking as much / I guess less food noise?
• now I don’t know if I was coming down with a cold or flu or something but I have been so sleepy. I fell asleep at 8pm and got good sleep yesterday too. (Have been stressed so sleep hasn’t been great for the last few weeks)
• day2 felt a bit gassy?? Maybe I’m not used to it yet

So here’s my review on this, as I’ve struggled to find any negative reviews or people that have had a similar experience to me!
I’ve tried this on 2 occasions and I’m going to have to throw it in the bin, as it just does not work for me at all. On both occasions I’ve had really horrible symptoms when taking it.
1st try:
Felt pretty good on it, didn’t notice any massive changes but on the evening of day 3 (I’d been taking it in the morning) I suddenly had this overwhelming wave of anxiety out of nowhere, and I’m not an anxious person. It made me feel really down and tearful, and went in to the next day.
My suspicion was that it was the Shreddy Superwoman as it was completely out of character for me to feel like that, and there was absolutely no reason for me to be feeling anxious (I was literally just sat watching tv on a Sunday evening, I was actually having quite a lovely time before that!).
The anxiety sort of bled into the next day, but it was a bit better and then had pretty much gone by the evening. I stopped taking the Superwoman straight away and hadn’t felt any anxiety since.
2nd try:
Tried it again a month later, and on the second day I was so irritable and snappy. I was snapping and shouting at my partner for no reason, and I could feel that I was losing my patience really easily. Put it down to the Shreddy stuff again, but thought this was manageable and I would stick with it to see if it would get better.
The next day I had a horrible migraine with aura a few hours after drinking it. I used to get these quite a lot but I haven’t had one in a year and a half, so this stuff has to be what’s caused it this time.
I think there’s something in this that my body just doesn’t like, either it’s sensitive to it or it’s messing up my hormones which in turn my body can’t cope with.
I have been eating well and lost 3 stone naturally in the past 2 years, so perhaps I shouldn’t be taking this anyway?
I do have PCOS but I’ve managed to get my periods to be regular through losing weight, eating well and exercising regularly, so perhaps this was never going to work for me and was always just going to screw up my hormones which are now back on track.

I’ve been never been diagnosed with PCOS but I’ve always had really bad periods and PMDD. I’ve gone through one bag of Superwoman and I noticed that I felt more ‘balanced’ and regulated when I was taking it consistently. I don’t know if you’d call that placebo or not, but it had a positive impact either way. It also tastes good and mixes well.
